Awa Hou music last night
Monisha caught a few minutes of my set last night on her phone's voice memo. People were saying my set sounded like a cinematic Joy Division, which made me happy.
The set I played was not the set I planned though. While I was putting things together at home beforehand literally everything stopped working but me. I had to swap out the guitar I was going to use, the software, the device it ran on and, the foot controller I was going to use to keep on playing guitar while charging things, and the soundcard it all went through. I still have no idea what the problem is.
Anyway, much thanks to Monisha for coming out on a work night, Skayu for skipping out on studying, Awa Hou for having us, Mophead for hosting and excellent originals. Winter's originals were great too. I missed out on Tisna and her friend but had a nice chat, And to Barron and the bass player whose name I missed, who held it down for anyone needing the support. I was grateful given my eviscerated setup.
